We kept opening a second browser tab for the same handful of sites (or files). A supplier portal or web form, our own Fizzy Projects website, a Zoom room, anything the customer actually uses that is not Odoo.
Odoo’s home screen is for apps. Those sites are not apps. They are now doors.
Doors is a small add-on for Odoo 19. You give a URL a name. It becomes a tile on the home screen and opens in a new tab. Same idea as doors in Basecamp. That is the whole product. Simple effective way to help your team find what they need.
You manage the list under Settings → Doors. There is no extra app icon. The tiles sit with the rest of the home screen, which is the point.
It depends only on base. Community or Enterprise. LGPL-3. Free.
