No. Most clients keep their accounts package on day one while we fix the operational side, then move the books across later only if it makes sense. Odoo does have full accounting built in, so you can consolidate when you are ready, but you are never forced to rip out your ledger to get started. We will give you an honest steer on the right order for you.

We carry thousands of product lines. Is that a problem?

No. Odoo handles large catalogues comfortably, including variants, multiple units of measure and per-supplier details. The work is in getting the data clean and the structure right up front, which is exactly what the migration stage is for.
