Privacy notice

Last updated 22 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data Fizzy Projects Ltd collects, why we use it and what you can do about it. It covers our website, enquiries, calls and the work we do for clients. "We" and "us" mean Fizzy Projects Ltd.

Who we are

Fizzy Projects Ltd is the controller of the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17301313, at 25 Scotts Close, Churchstow, Kingsbridge, TQ7 3RB.

Send any question about your data to hello@fizzyprojects.com.

What we collect

  • Contact details. Your name, job title, company, email address and phone number, when you fill in a form, book a call, email us or raise a support ticket.
  • What you tell us. Information about your business, your systems and what you need from them.
  • Client records. Quotes, contracts, invoices, payments, support tickets and correspondence.
  • Call notes. We sometimes transcribe video calls with Google Meet to produce meeting notes. Meet tells everyone on the call when this is switched on.
  • Website visits. We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. Our hosting logs IP addresses and browser details to keep the site secure.

Where it comes from

Mostly from you. We may also collect business contact details from public sources, such as company websites, Companies House and LinkedIn, or through Odoo's lead enrichment service, when we think our work is relevant to your business.

Data inside client systems

When we implement or support Odoo for a client, we can see the personal data held in their database, such as their customers, suppliers and staff. The client is the controller of that data and we act as their processor. We use it only to do the work the client asks for, under our contract with them. The client's own privacy notice covers it.

We do not make decisions about you by automated means alone.

Cookies

Our website only sets the cookies it needs to work, such as one that keeps your session secure and one that remembers your language. Because they are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent and there is no cookie banner. Embedded YouTube videos use YouTube's privacy enhanced mode, so YouTube sets no cookies unless you play a video. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use these providers to run the business:

  • Odoo S.A. hosts our website and business system, including our CRM, email, bookings, helpdesk, electronic signatures and accounts, in data centres in France.
  • Google Workspace for email, calendars, video calls and meeting notes.
  • Slack for chat with clients who share a channel with us.
  • Linear for project and task tracking.
  • Stripe to take card payments.
  • Plausible Analytics for visitor counts.
  • Anthropic and Google, whose AI tools help us draft documents and summarise notes.

We also share data with Odoo S.A. when you buy Odoo licences through us, with professional advisers such as our accountants and lawyers, and with authorities where the law requires it.

International transfers

Most of our data stays in the UK or the European Economic Area. Some providers, including Google, Slack, Linear, Stripe and Anthropic, may process it in the United States. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Addendum to standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to work: two years from our last contact.
  • Contracts, invoices and accounting records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to.
  • Project and support records: while you are a client, then six years.
  • Marketing emails: until you unsubscribe. We then keep your address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you
  • correct it
  • delete it
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including stopping marketing emails at any time
  • send it to you or another organisation in a portable format

Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@fizzyprojects.com and we will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

Security

Only the people who need personal data can access it. Our systems are hosted by the providers above and all traffic to them is encrypted. When we work inside a client's system, we do so only as the client instructs.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email hello@fizzyprojects.com first. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and tell you what we are doing about it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

We update this page when the way we use data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
